Abbe Perkins GBSM ABSM
Abbe has over 35 years of teaching experience as a peripatetic string and piano teacher across Nottinghamshire, including private tuition, work for local authorities, private schools, music schools and for Youth orchestras. She has extensive experience as a piano accompanist, and as a cello soloist and ensemble player.
Adam Sharrocks BA (Hons)
Adam is an experienced and versatile drummer, performer, session musician and teacher. He has a creative approach to tuition – aiming to create a personalised experience to suit the needs of each pupil.
Alison Roe BMus (Hons) PGCE
Alison is a highly skilled musician and very experienced Class and Instrumental teacher, able to contribute enormously to any school music activity/ ensemble to the highest level.
Andrew Mart BA (Hons)
Andrew is a Woodwind Teacher, specialising in Oboe and Bassoon but is able to teach the full range of Woodwind instruments from small groups to individual tuition.
Carolyn Beedle BMus (Hons) ALCM PGCE - Director
Very experienced Woodwind Teacher specialising in Clarinet and Sax.
Able to teach full range of Woodwind Instruments and all ensembles from jazz / swing band to orchestral. Experienced accompanist
Carolyn Talkes-Nicholls B.A. (Hons)
Carolyn teaches Woodwind instruments and Singing, and has lots of experience in teaching individuals and groups, as well as leading choirs and small vocal groups. She is particularly interested in the link between music-making and wellbeing. Carolyn has a Degree in Music as well as qualifications in Woodwind and Singing. She’s at home with Classical music, but also loves performing and teaching Jazz and Musical Theatre.

Danny Meller B.A. (Hons), BTEC
Danny is a talented guitarist and teacher. He has taught widely in Nottingham Schools and provides a friendly, relaxed approach to his guitar lessons, catering for all abilities and styles, but within a structured learning environment.
David Hartland
David is a specialist Drum Kit and Percussion Teacher, teaching in various schools in Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. He regularly performs in concerts around the UK and has been the conductor of the Leicestershire Schools Service Senior Percussion Ensemble since 1994.
Deena Draycott BMus (Hons)
Deena is an extremely versatile instrumentalist, specialising in all instruments of the string family, piano and bassoon. She is a very experienced classical musician with a particular interest in Russian orchestral music
Elliott Lewis BA (Hons)
Elliott specialises in 'Whole Class Brass' tuition and also guitar. He is involved in numerous folk, latin, soul, and funk bands in addition to his teaching.
EMMA AMBLER BA (Hons), PGCE
A highly experienced performer and educator- formerly Head of Music in Secondary education, Emma provides well- planned singing lessons in which pupils develop an understanding of their voice and build confidence to reach their full potential in an inspiring environment.
GARY GLOVER
A highly skilled and versatile musician, formerly a high-level musician in the Royal Military, Gary is especially experienced in directing bands and ensembles, but equally at home teaching children 1-1 on piano and brass.
JEZZ FLEET GRSM, ARCM
A highly skilled and experienced piano and violin teacher who is very well-known throughout the area, Jezz has a particular interest in piano accompanying, with a vast experience of exam repertoire, ballet, and choral singing too.

A very experienced Woodwind Teacher, specialising in Flute. Able to teach the full range of Woodwind instruments.

Liam is an experienced Keyboard Teacher, specialising in popular music / composition / GCSE coursework working with
Primary and Secondary pupils.
Lisa Bancroft BMus (Hons) Dip ABRSM PGCE
Lisa is an experienced Woodwind Teacher specialising in flute. She is able to teach a range of woodwind instruments, beginner brass, music theory, whole class tuition, lead small and medium sized enesembles, and she has a passion for recorders.
Margaret Rawlings GTCL LTCL PGCE
Margaret is a vastly experienced classroom music educator who specialises in whole class, small group and individual tuition on brass and recorder. She has produced her own tutor books websites. She plays the trombone with Harworth Brass Band.

Guitar tutor with over 20 years of playing experience. Graduate of Derby University with a Popular Music and Music Technology degree.

Mat is an enthusiastic new Woodwind teacher, versatile in all woodwind instruments and styles, with a special interest in conducting and running ensembles
Matt Ratcliffe B. Mus (Hons), CME
Matt is a well-known jazz pianist and music educator. He is passionate about music performance and giving all students the opportunity to make music. He is a regular performer in the local and national jazz scene and besides teaching in local schools, he also teaches at both Nottingham Universities.
Natalie Reeve BA Mus (Hons), PGCE
Natalie is a very experienced former Secondary School Head of Music who has discovered a love of teaching music in Primary schools. She is also a talented woodwind teacher, specialising in clarinet, saxophone and flute. She especially loves sharing her experiences of performing in a number of different musical ensembles with her students. She is able to offer whole class teaching as well as small group/ individual lessons.
Natasha Dawson Dip RCM ARCM
Natasha has studied and played violin at the highest level (Royal College of Music). She teaches with great enthusiasm and care.

Richard has been involved at the very highest levels of music policymaking and education and has taught throughout the school range. He has a real affinity with primary tuition, providing fun-packed lessons using the latest music technology.
Richard Gaunt BSc (Hons) PGCE
Richard is a very experienced secondary school teacher and musician. He has sung in choirs and shows for some 30 years, directed shows, and has led choirs in 3 secondary schools. He is an accomplished singer, bass guitarist, violinist and occassional piano accompanist. He has a passion for young people's participation in music.
Ruth Jackson HND Music Cert Ed
After 20+ years in the further education sector, Ruth has returned to the classroom, and is really enjoying teaching in a classroom setting, as well as teaching violin.
Thomas Davis BA(Hons), ARSM, CME
Tom is a Low Brass specialist who plays regularly in Orchestra, Brass Bands and as a Session Musician in the Nottingham area. He has over 8 years of experience working as a brass teacher in various schools delivering whole class, small group and one to one tuition. Tom particularly enjoys Orchestral music but loves playing Musical Theatre, Jazz and Film music.
Tom Dempsey
Tom has been a working musician since the age of 14, performing with a wide range of artists from Hip Hop legend Rodney P to Pantomimes. He has logged many hours as a studio musician on jingles, TV/film and albums, the highlight being a recording featuring Adele and Olly Murs.
He has been teaching since the early 2000’s, in schools, colleges, workshops and privately- from five year- olds to pro musicians.
Tom Pottage BA (Hons) MMus
Tom is a technically accomplished guitar player in a variety of styles, specialising in modern electric guitar techniques. He holds a Masters and undergraduate degree in music and has been teaching children and adults professionally for over 10 years.
